Border Patrol Agent Shot Dead in Vermont
A U.S. Border Patrol agent has been shot and killed in Vermont, just hours after President Trump's second inauguration. The FBI says one suspect in the shooting was also killed and a second suspect was injured and taken into custody. The incident occurred on Interstate 91 between Newport and Orleans, about 20 miles south of the U.S.-Canada border. The agent has been identified as 44-year-old David Maland, a veteran agent with the Customs and Border Protection agency.
