In a recent visit to Girls Inc. in Santa Barbara, California, Meghan Markle opened up about her experiences with online bullying. The Duchess of Sussex claimed to be 'one of the most bullied people in the world' during an activity with teenage girls. In response to this issue, Markle's Archewell Foundation has joined forces with Girls Inc., Melinda French Gates' company Pivotal Ventures, and Oprah Winfrey's Charitable Foundation to create an anti-bullying program for young girls called Social Media U. This educational initiative aims to equip girls with essential tools to thrive in the digital age while fostering healthier relationships with technology. The program has already been tested with middle-school aged girls, and it's set to launch on International Day of the Girl (October 11).
