Russia Blames Ukraine for Killing a Top General
In a shocking turn of events, Russia has accused Ukraine of assassinating General Igor Kirillov, the head of the military’s chemical, biological and radiological weapons unit. The Uzbek suspect, who was reportedly recruited by Ukrainian special services, is said to have been promised $100,000 and travel to the European Union for carrying out the attack. The bomb, which was hidden in a scooter, was detonated remotely, killing both Kirillov and his assistant.
