Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia, and Billy Wagner have been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Ichiro, the first Japanese-born player to receive this honor, received 99.7% of the votes. Sabathia, a dominating force in the 2000s, won the Cy Young Award in 2007. Wagner, in his final year of eligibility, boasts impressive stats, including the fourth-most strikeouts per nine innings among relievers since 1920.
Ichiro retired with a .311 average, 3,089 hits, and a 60.0 WAR. Sabathia ended his career with a 3.74 ERA, 3,093 strikeouts, 251 wins, and six All-Stars. Wagner, with a 2.31 ERA and 422 saves, is the first left-hander elected to the Hall who was primarily a reliever.
