South Carolina DJ Suspended for Playing Song About LSU Star's Slain Father
What happens when a college basketball game turns personal? The University of South Carolina athletic department found themselves in hot water after their DJ, DJ T.O., played a song by LSU star Flau'Jae Johnson's slain father at the end of their game. The song, "Cut Friends" by Camouflage, was the artist's final recording before he was murdered in 2003. The DJ claimed the song choice had nothing to do with the LSU player, but the athletic department saw it differently, suspending the DJ for one game and apologizing to the LSU program and Flau'Jae's family.
